American Heroes Are Not Known Many Times Until They Are Lost. Tragically America has lost 4  heroes in the last few days to radicals at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, security officers Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, and computer expert Sean Smith… murdered. Ambassador Chris Stevens was known not only as a very intelligent man but as a man who had a human touch. Stevens graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of  Law, and received a masters degree from the National War College.
